Impending Doom é uma banda norte-americano death metal de Riverside área da Califórnia.
Brook Reeves e Manny Contreras começou a banda em 2005 com os ex- membros Chris Forno, Isaac Bueno, e Jon.
Após o lançamento do EP, "The Sin And Doom Of Godless Man", Greg Pewthers se juntou a terceira guitarra. Mais tarde, Jon deixou a banda e David Sittig foi adicionado ao line-up. Andy Hegg mais tarde tomou o lugar de Bueno ea banda gravou o álbum "Nailed. Dead. Risen", Forno deixou a banda em 2007, a banda tem usado dois guitarristas. Devido à dedicação de Andy Hegg a sua bolsa de estudos de futebol, Impending Doom teve de usar diferentes bateristas em suas turnês. Desde então, o baterista Chad Blackwell tornou-se o baterista oficial da banda. O grupo assinou com a Facedown Records em janeiro de 2007.
A banda se refere ao seu estilo de metal cristão como "Gorship" - - uma mistura de gore e adoração.
