A Huntington foi uma banda punk de Baltimore, Maryland, formada em 1993-1994 na área de Maryland Delaware / por Cliff Powell (aka Cliffy Huntington), Mike Holt (aka Mikey Huntington) e Mike Pierce (aka Mikee Huntington). A banda é fortemente influenciada por Ramones.
Em 1996, seu albúm de estréia Sweet Sixteen foi lançado pela Flying Tart Records. Poucos meses depois, sua primeira gravação de covers de Ramones , intitulado Rocket To Ramonia viu edição limitada através do selo Vinyl Burnt Toast. Neste ponto, a banda adicionou um segundo guitarrista, Tom Rehbein. Depois de trabalhar com o produtor em massa Giorgini para o próximo álbum a banda, Fun and Games, Tom foi substituído por Brad Ber. Após o lançamento do álbum no Verão de 1997, a banda começou a excursionar e ganhou um status cult. Sua grande chance veio em 1998, quando assinou contrato com a Tooth and Nail Records e lançou High School Rock.
Depois da turnê para o lançamento Rock High School, a banda fez uma decisão consciente, levar seu som estilo Ramones ao extremo e lançou cinco álbuns em um período de um ano. Live: The Good, The Bad And The Ugly , File Under Ramones e Get Lost todos em 1999, esgotado nas lojas. A banda também tocou o primeiro do que viria a ser dois shows com Joey Ramone no CBGB's em Nova York. Plastic Surgery e Split ambos foram liberados às lojas em janeiro de 2000. Durante este período a banda passou por várias mudanças de line-up antes de finalmente resolver de vez com Josh Blackway (aka Jonny Huntington) na segunda guitarra e Josh Zimmer (aka Danny # 2) na bateria. A banda passou o restante de 2000, na estrada em turnê durante os E.U. e na Europa.
A primavera de 2001 viu o lançamento de Rock 'N' Roll Habits For The New Wave (uma coleção de versões gravadas recentemente de músicas selecionadas a partir da faixa pré-Tooth and Nail época). Após a conclusão deste registro, Josh Zimmer deixou a banda eo baterista original, Mikee, voltou para ajudar a banda com o seu próximo disco, Songs In The Key Of You , que foi lançado no final do verão de 2001.
Cliffy deixou a banda antes do lançamento do Songs In The Key Of You e após uma breve pausa, a banda reagrupou com um novo guitarrista (Andy Dibiaso) eo baterista (Rick Wise) e viajou ao longo de 2002.
2003 trouxe mais dois lançamentos da banda: um EP intitulado The Soothing Sounds Of ... e seu último longa-metragem original de todos os novos materiais, Self-Titled Album.
A banda terminou em 2005 com uma canção de 30 melhores do disco, intitulado Growing Up Is No Fun: The Standards '95-'05 e tocaram seu último show no Festival Cornerstone , trazendo de volta Cliffy na guitarra.
